InSure Vision Technologies Announces Release of SurePath 5.0 for Surety Bond Processing.  New Features Facilitate Real-Time Reporting with Travelers Surety and Enhancements to Electronic Bid Bond Processing.

Sherman Oaks, CA – September 15, 2003 -  InSure Vision Technologies (IVT) announced the availability of SurePath 5.0, its flagship product for processing and managing both paper-based and electronic surety bonds.  SurePath 5.0 contains many enhancements that now facilitate electronic filing of bonds to Travelers based on ACORD standards (now in pilot testing with selected agencies).  This allows for real-time filing of bonds and subsequent transactions when you process them in SurePath.  

Additionally, SurePath 5.0 allows agents to submit bid bonds electronically to DOT’s via Bid Express as well as other non-Bid Express State DOT’s.   “SurePath 5.0 is the surety industry’s most comprehensive surety bond processing system available to insurance agents and underwriters.  In addition, our electronic bid bond module, with support for electronic signatures and digital certificates, makes SurePath the hands down industry leader in this evolving arena of surety bond processing.  Integration with Agency Management Systems such as Applied Systems’ WinTam and AMS Sagitta Browser further automates the process. SurePath is the only independent product on the market that provides customers with a comprehensive library of over 4,000 pre-scanned surety bonds. IVT adds additional bond forms to the bond form library upon request.  SureForm also supports digital signatures, digital certificates and electronic filing. If anyone tampers with the digitally signed document, the signatures are automatically invalidated.  Agents can attach digital certificates to a bond form, which can be independently verified by companies such as Digital Signature Trust (www.digsigtrust.com).  SurePath also supports the use of signature capture tablets and has partnered with Topaz Systems, Inc.© to make the electronic pen tablets available to agents at a competitive price.  This method can be used in conjunction with filing certain commercial surety bonds.
