SDK

The SurePath Software Development Kit (SDK) is a package of tools to help you create custom integrations solutions between the SurePath Network and your systems. It uses XML, an open industry standard for exchanging data and is similar to the language that is used to write web pages.

The Toolkit consists of:

	Documentation of the XML tags, XML Document Type Definition (DTD) and XML Data Reduced (XDR) files;
	A utility for generating a request;
	Source code examples in Java and Visual Basic for parsing an XML response; and
	A COM wrapper compatible with Microsoft's BizTalk initiative to facilitate trading partner data exchange.

The SDK has already had a history of success. It helped a national broker develop specialized, customized reporting for a major account. In addition, Applied Systems, a leader in insurance distribution systems and a strategic partner of InSure Vision, has used the toolkit to integrate SurePath with their WinTam 6.x, 7.x, 8.x and 9.x product, one of the most widely accepted agency management systems in North America.

CNA Surety has also utilized the SDK to populate their internal bond processing system. Not only did their SurePath integration allow them to reduce data entry and streamline bond processing, but it has also allowed CNA Surety to receive bonds electronically from select agencies.
